A Note to our Customers about the Coronavirus from President David Pace
During these uncertain times we want to let you know that we have concentrated our efforts to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus while attempting to maintain a sense of business as usual, so that we can help you do the same. We believe that we are partners in business and partners in the fight to stop the spread of the Coronavirus. I’m writing to inform you what we are doing and outline how we can continue to maintain working together throughout the coming weeks.
IMS is diligently following the COVID-19 news and the protocols being laid out by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). We are relying on these and other experts to guide our decisions and practices to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. We are providing employees with information they need to remain healthy, and we are immediately sending any employee home who is showing any signs of illness. In turn, we ask that if you’re not feeling well and experiencing flu-like symptoms – fever and cough – please place your order via phone or return to our stores when you are well.
Currently we are operating under modified business conditions – we are open Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., and Saturdays 8 a.m. - 12 noon . This is all being done with new health precautions in place. Our inventory remains well stocked and the majority of our products are not experiencing any delays and arriving as scheduled. As of today we have ample inventory to fulfill the current orders.
All locations are stocked with hand sanitizers, cleaning wipes and gloves for employees to wear as necessary. We are sanitizing our counters, fixtures and general use areas throughout the day, and we have increased the frequency and extent of cleaning of all six facilities as well. We are prepared to continue sales and delivery operations as of today.
We continue to evaluate the rapidly evolving situation and, as new information becomes available, will take appropriate measures to ensure ongoing operations.
Stay safe and stay well.
Regards,
David Pace
President
